Collaborative Search for Microorganisms in Mongolia

TOKYO, June 28, 2007-The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation ("NITE"; headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; director general: Makoto Misonou) and Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Chugai"; headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO, Osamu Nagayama) will start a collaborative research program in July 2007 to search new microorganisms in Mongolia and assess their potential for industrial use.
